5 Things that you should learn from the Ancient Yogi – Shiva as an Entrepreneur on this Maha Shivratri!
Each one of us has an inclination towards our religion. Religion is something you are born into, and you cannot question it! Being an Entrepreneur, you would have always been curious to question and build logics that could satiate your mind. On the contrary your religion seems to bring more confusions than clarity. Gradually, you would have understood that above all, one of the theories is lying common in all of the religions that existed since the inception, is the Karmic Theory, and that could be your belief system to count upon.
What is Karmic Theory?
Karmic Theory relates to “Karma” which means “the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.” It always grows and decays basis your Karma or deeds. You should keep doing your deeds and shouldn’t be excited or assumptive of the results, as you don’t have any control over it.
How is Lord Shiva related to Karmic Theory?
Lord Shiva in Hindus is termed to be the transformer of this universe. His accolades, attire and teachings has always guided his followers and disciples to attempt their deeds and keep evolving. He is the only God who has mastered the Lordship of both the worlds – Gods and the Demons, with his karma and achievements. Someone who has evolved with his Karmas(Deeds) and Saadhnas((Rigorous Practice to achieve Enlightenment). He is assumed to be one of the prime sources of energy- both positive and negative. What has been explained in the Hindu mythology has always been something which was far beyond the reach of common individual and most of the attributes of Shiva has been exported to Heaven. However if your read about Shiva you would realise that he is an embodiment of all Sadhnas (Rigorous Practice to achieve Enlightenment) and Karma (Deeds), and has realistic powers which can be experienced in the real life and not in Heaven, because Heaven Just does not exists! Below are some learnings of Karmic Theory inspired by the Life of Lord Shiva.
- An adverse situation helps you to correct your “System of Beliefs”!
We all worry or fear of adverse situations, but what we fail to understand is “Challenging Times corrects your System of Beliefs”. While we face challenges, all sources of perception like “Mind, Body, Senses, Intuitions and Beliefs” get an opportunity to correct them, which is not possible even if you try and onboard challenges willingly! Hence just try and seek Challenges and Difficult Times as a Learning Opportunity and keep attaining learnings to evolve.
- Success is a State of Mind
We often attribute Success to materialistic things, designations, possessions or belongings, but that’s not true at all. Rather success is extremely personal and something that you wish to attain and not acquire. Hence we can say that “The only journey you travel is within and Success is nothing but a Mental State of Mind”
- Know Thyself!
Before we start venturing to learn from others, make sure that you explore yourself. You have great powers within you and till you have good command over your anxieties and desire, you may not be able to conquer what comes to you from the outer world. While there seems to be disconnect as to why dissolve so much within you if you have to learn the art of mastering the physical world? The answer to this could be is, that you are made from the same elements as the outer world and the path to master it goes Through You and not Beyond You
- Karma is Supreme
While this sounds a bit repetitive but the point is Have you still realized it, and what does it mean? Principle to attain a fulfilling life has always been simple, but the fact of the matter is Have You Realised it within You? The moment you realize, from that moment onwards, petty things such as labour, hardships and failures will not bring you demotivation and your ultimate aim shall be to attain the “Winning State of Mind” rather than attaining some position or place in your career.
- You may die but your Tendencies do not, make sure you choose them wisely!
Your wants and desires bring an urge which later matures to tendencies that just are not mortal! Even if you die you will have something to go along with you, they are your tendencies! So better choose to bring the choices around your desires and wants which are genuinely and honestly rewarding in nature. If you choose something which is influenced by greed of anything, it shall bring misery not till you are alive but even beyond that!
